Surprisingly good taco shop in Needles. Appears to be a mom and pop restaurant. Kids loved their quesadillas and at $6.50 really reasonable. They also do breakfast burritos all day- loved the chili verde breakfast burrito. Minus one star for the fries- skip those.
Authentic, like my grandma would make! The food was very good rice, beans, rolled tacos were amazing. Others in the group were also quite surprised. The building is small check the pictures on Yelp. The family owned restaurant is run by family they greeted us and made us feel comfortable. Our food was out quicker than anticipated due to the people ordering at the same time. Easy in, easy out, great food. Prices are reasonable, speed of service is good. The food was not greasy, like you can get with some other Mexican food places. We had the adobada, chicken, and asada, all great. The salsas were good too.
Food is delicious and great customer service. Just remember to bring cash with you, as they only accept cash.
Great place, thanks to Yelpers to help us find this gem of a haystack in Needles. I had the Chorizo burrito and other family members had the Sausage burrito and Ham burrito. Bathroom available to customers and reasonably clean. Four tables inside so a bit cramped, but many folks get food to go. Easy walk from Electrify America especially if you don't mind walking down the sand dune.
Don't miss the Carne Asada!!! No gristle or excess fat, just juicy chunks of tender meat. Enchiladas were very good. Nothing too spicy for my picky husband but lots of salsas to up the heat if you like it hot. Definitely a must stop in this tiny town.
The place is small but the service is good, efficient, fast and super friendly. We spent a few days in town while exploring the area. We bought burritos each morning and threw them in a cooler. They are delicious.
Needles is on the way to the Grand Canyon; if you decide to stop there for a bite to eat, Munchy's is a perfect spot to choose! While you could just as easily take your business to one of the many drive-through chains nearby, Mom & Pop businesses like this are totally worth going out of your way to visit :-) We throughly enjoyed our meal when we were here - the food is fresh and tasty, and the service is friendly and spot-on. My choice for lunch was their tuna sandwich, which turned out to be nothing short of exceptional.
